So, expect Geno Smith to be handing the ball off a lot. Not only can they not stop the pass, but they can’t score a lot of points. But, it also may be the only shot the Seahawks have at winning. Is it an antiquated way to play the game? Sure. The Seahawks are going to try and turn back the clock and play a slow pace while controlling the time of possession. But, Geno Smith is not going to be airing it out a lot on Sunday Night Football. I’m not sure I really have to explain this one past what I already have. It’s been relatively easy to throw the ball against Seattle. I know that Pittsburgh is focussing more on running the ball through Najee Harris, whether that be on the ground or through the air, but Johnson should easily hit this number. The only time he didn’t surpass the 70-yard mark came in Week 1. Johnson is a certified stud, and should be even more of a focal point in this Pittsburgh offense with JuJu Smith-Schuster out for the year.ĭionte Johnson has finished with 70+ receiving yards in three of the four games he played this season.
